Veganomicon: caramel apple peanut butter bars

I am going to a motherblessing tomorrow and I have to bring a dish to share. I decided to make these, but it turned out more like deep dish apple pie. Also, not vegan, because the crust is graham crackers and ours have honey in them. It smells so delicious though!!

Veganomicon: banana bread

My in-laws bought me Veganomicon for my birthday. I am not vegan anymore but I try to eat vegan as often as I can. The first thing I made was banana bread. It was delicious. Super moist. Molasses gave it a nice dark color. Two thumbs up!

Michigan Women's Football Academy 2014!

Today I had the time of my life at the WFA! We ran drills and finished with scrimmages at the Big House. We were coached by the coaches and players, and they were all awesome and patient and encouraging. We had a blast and can't wait to do it again next year! Go Blue Beat Ohio!

Memories.

Thinking about the stuff my sister and I had to deal with that my son and niece will never experience makes me very emotional. And grateful that we had the opportunity and determination to make better lives for ourselves and our children.

Happy 5th Birthday Nick!

Nick turned 5 on April 3! I can't believe it. He had many awesome birthday celebrations. We had the preschoolers over for cupcakes, took cookies and milk to school, went to Chuck E Cheese with Aunt Krystyn and Uncle Zack, and had a family party today! So many fun celebrations.
