Thankful.

So obviously I have missed quite a few days of thankfulness this year! I am throwing in the towel this year, but I do know that I have a lot to be thankful for. 

A Nick Funny.

We took Nick to Guernsey for his first banana split this afternoon. We all shared it. As we were eating it, he said, "This makes me want chips and salsa." lol So we ate dinner afterwards at Border Cantina.

Day 10.

I am thankful for a great community. Northville is such a fun, family-friendly place. Nick is lucky to grow up here!

Day 9.

I am thankful for my firm. It is an awesome place to work. I also have a fantastic mentor. She's an amazing attorney and also a working mom, so she understands work-life balance issues. 

Day 8.

I am thankful for UM and its sports programs. Basketball game tonight with the banner raising ceremony beforehand! Go Blue!

Day 7.

I am thankful for modern transportation. It allows me to work 25 miles from my house, and quickly visit my sister several states away. 

Day 6.

I am thankful for modern medicine. 

Day 5.

I am thankful for all of my mama friends. I could not have survived the last 4.5 years without them. 

Water Experiment.

I am starting a 28 day experiment during which I will try to drink at least 3 liters of water every day. Hopefully it will help my facial skin. We shall see!

Day 4.

I am thankful for my sister. She always knows how to cheer me up and supports me no matter what. We have so much fun together and now that we have kids, we are excited for them to join our fun!

I am thankful for technology. Keeps us informed and in touch.

I am thankful that I was born in America, the best country that has ever existed, where anything is possible. 

Day 1.

30 days of thanks starts today!

Today I am thankful for my wonderful husband and son. We have a lot of fun times and are looking forward to years and years of more fun!

I am disappointed in the result but not the team. They played hard and had a great run. Kudos to Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr and Spike Albrecht especially. Now we begin the agonizing wait to see who is entering the draft.
